Royal Caribbean takes delivery of Anthem of the Seas

Meyer Werft shipyard formally turned over Anthem of the Seas to Royal Caribbean International on Friday, ten days ahead of the ship’s naming ceremony in Southampton, England.

The 4,200-passenger Anthem, the second ship in Royal's Quantum class, will sail from the U.K. on numerous European itineraries this summer and fall. In November, it will arrive in New York Harbor to dock at its permanent home port of Cape Liberty, N.J.

Distinctive functions of the Quantum-class ships incorporate the North Star aerial observatory, the SeaPlex bumper auto arena and the RipCord by iFLY skydiving simulator.

Climate

Northern Croatia has a temperate continental climate whereas the central and upland regions have a mountainous climate. The complete Adriatic coast has a pleasant Mediterranean climate. Spring and autumn are mild along the coast, even though winter is cold and snowy in central and northern regions. The typical temperature inland in January ranges from -10° to 5°C and in August, from 19° to 39°C. The average temperature at the seaside is larger: in January, from 6°C to 11°C and in August from 21°C to 39°C.

Terrain
